Many smile and look toward the front. Large painted banners hang on the walls behind them, and a stage light is visible at top. No identifiable a person figure is visible in the scene.2006-12-26March 11 20172017-03-11January 12 20072007-01-12December 27 20072007-12-27A dimly lit hall filled with a large seated gathering of devotees in white clothing, many wearing white shirts and white dhotis or sarees, with some wearing rudraksha or beaded necklaces and lanyard-style name badges. Two women in the foreground, one in a green shawl and one in a dark top with gold necklace, smile toward the camera, while others clap or gesture. Large framed portraits and banners hang on the walls behind the crowd, and orange-and-white decorative lanterns hang from the ceiling. The scene suggests a satsang or darshan gathering, with people seated on mats on the floor.2006-12-27January 01 20032003-01-01October 21 20062006-10-21 +1 copiesA photograph of a large crowd seated on bare ground inside a red-walled hall with a green corrugated roof, many people gazing upward toward something above them. In the foreground at left, a man with a grey beard and long hair sits in white clothes with an orange shawl, a bead necklace and a wristwatch, beside a woman in an orange shawl and white garment. Most others wear white or light clothing, with some in saffron, red and orange saris, and several in school shirts. A small figure in white stands near the top centre of the crowd. The scene looks like a gathered celebration at a temple hall, and the page's Deepavali context is not visible in the image itself.2006-10-21
