Night photograph of a crowd of devotees gathered outdoors near a red corrugated metal fence and a small yellow-lit shrine arch. Young boys and men in saffron-orange dhotis and rudraksha malas sit or stand closely together, many with hands folded in prayer and white sacred ash marks on their foreheads. Several women in white saris with red or orange borders and garlands stand among them, one holding a small object. A man at right with bare chest and orange cloth looks on. Trees and a red van are visible in the background, and a few figures in white stand at left.2017-12-02Night-time outdoor ritual at dusk among palm trees. In the foreground a man with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron cloth with gold border and a gold-beaded necklace, stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Beside him are several men in orange robes with rudraksha-style garlands, also with hands folded. On the right a man in white dhoti and shawl with a red border holds a lit aarti lamp with flame and is accompanied by people in white. A brass plate with flowers lies at lower left. Behind, devotees in white and red clothing stand and one person holds up a camera. The scene suggests a deepam lamp ceremony.2010-11-21Outdoor evening scene at dusk beneath dark palm trees, with a large group of people standing in a loose semicircle on bare earth. Many women wear orange, red-bordered white, and yellow saris, while men wear white dhotis and shirts, saffron robes, and tan or pink shirts. Several people press their palms together in prayer. On the left, a man in saffron robes with a shaved head stands near a figure in orange robes, and a drum is visible in the middle of the group. Small stone figures and green shrubs line the ground at the left. Several people are visible in the background. The orange-robed figure on the left has a shaved head and a short beard, which does not meet the cue threshold for identification, so no identification is made.2010-11-21Night outdoor scene on bare reddish-brown earth at an ashram gathering. A long line of devotees stands in a row facing right toward an illuminated shrine or ceremonial platform, with a lit umbrella-like canopy and a glowing deity murti area at the right edge. Foreground figures wear saffron-orange garments with gold borders; others wear cream and white dhotis and kurtas. Several people have hands raised in prayer or folded at chest, and a bright lamp glows at the far right where white-clad priests attend the platform. Dark sky above.2016-03-07August 03 20082008-08-03March 02 20182018-03-02October 10 20112011-10-10Night outdoor scene on a paved courtyard strung with rows of small multicolored fairy lights. A tall figure with long dark hair stands centre-front in a bright orange-saffron dhoti and a red-orange upper cloth, barefoot on the ground, with a long dark mala-style necklace. Around him, roughly a dozen men in white dhotis and white shirts, many wearing orange shawls and beaded necklaces, stand in loose formation looking ahead, while a man in a checked shirt stands at right. A white van and a low white building with lit doorways sit in the background. Appearance-based candidate is a person, given his long hair, saffron clothing and beaded necklace, but the image is ambiguous.2007-12-21April 29 20152015-04-29December 17 20102010-12-17November 21 20102010-11-21December 25 20072007-12-25
