The front-centre man smiles with eyes closed and a red tilak, the people around him are also seated and smiling. This is a satsang-style gathering, the seated crowd fills the frame and extends beyond the top edge.2017-09-04A crowded seated congregation of mostly men fills a pavilion with pale lavender drapes. Most wear white dhotis and are bare-chested or in white shirts, with rudraksha or bead necklaces, and some have forehead marks. Several have beards, and a few are shaved-headed. In the foreground a woman in a white sari with a red hair flower sits, and orange and green cloth bundles lie on the floor. The scene suggests a listening assembly, with attentive faces turned toward the front. No single figure is clearly identified as a person from the appearance cues shown.2017-05-26
