October 02 20152015-10-02Photograph of an empty, weathered open-sided stone pavilion on a river ghat, with rust-coloured octagonal pillars, a dark wooden bench and a low stool. A sleeping stray dog lies on the stone floor at left, and a woven mat curtain hangs behind the bench. Beyond the railing, the wide river and pale hazy sky are visible. No people are seated or standing in the pavilion; a partial figure appears only at the far right edge, cut off by the frame.2015-10-02October 02 20152015-10-02October 02 20152015-10-02October 02 20152015-10-02October 02 20152015-10-02Outdoor photograph at a river ghat in Varanasi with a large tan cloth canopy strung over a stone platform on the water. Several people sit cross-legged on the platform in white dhotis and white shirts, some with pink or red shawls over their shoulders, while others sit at the edge in yellow. Steps and a temple-style building with a green awning stand to the right, and boats float on the river in the background. The lower right corner shows a partly visible bald head and a person's shoulder at the water's edge.2015-10-02May 14 20142014-05-14October 02 20152015-10-02February 08 20122012-02-08October 15 20082008-10-15Dim interior of an old stone temple hall with weathered carved pillars and a dark wooden ceiling beam. A close-up of a carved stone pillar bracket stands at right, with a folded green-and-yellow cloth draped over a pillar base and a small bright object at the bottom. No people are visible; the scene shows architectural detail and aged carved stone in shadowy hall.2009-07-14
