Saffron-robed sannyasis stand with hands folded in anjali mudra, and many young saffron-clad boys with shaved heads and white tilak on their foreheads stand among them. Foreground figures include a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with gold border and rudraksha mala holding a silver vessel, a man in rust-coloured robe with orange shawl and rudraksha malas, a bespectacled man in saffron robe holding a long wooden staff, and a man in saffron robe wearing a marigold and red-flower garland. No one is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance; roles are priest, sannyasis and devotees during a padapuja-style ceremony. Several dozen people are visible.2014-10-04A photograph of a ceremonial gathering outdoors under trees, with a pillar and red-painted structure behind. In the centre, a man with short dark hair and a white tilak stands with palms pressed together in namaste, wearing a white-and-red-flowered garland, a rudraksha mala and a maroon-red dhoti with a yellow border. Beside him, a bald man in gold-rimmed glasses, a dark rudraksha mala and a maroon-red garment with a brown shawl holds a long wooden pole. Around them stand many young boys and men with shaved heads, white forehead markings and saffron-orange robes, some holding their hands together in prayer, forming a row of devotees.2014-10-04June 07 20162016-06-07June 07 20162016-06-07Outdoor procession with a smiling man at the centre wearing a rust-red robe, long rudraksha mala necklaces and a thick garland of yellow marigolds, white and pink flowers and green leaves. Beside him, a young man in an orange turban and orange wrap holds a green and gold decorated bundle with a flower-filled vessel on top, while a man with white sacred ash marks and a beaded mala stands behind. Several people in orange turbans are visible in the background near a covered walkway, with palm trees above. The scene suggests a padapuja or welcome ceremony, with Swamiji (probable) appearing as the man in the centre-right wearing the heavy gold necklaces and long swept-back hair.2017-09-02August 20 20142014-08-20 +1 copiesAugust 20 20142014-08-20 +1 copies
