December 18 20132013-12-18A procession of devotees walks along a dirt path in front of a grey breeze-block wall and green shrubs. Most wear saffron-orange and red-orange robes with golden borders and rudraksha malas. Foreground figures carry silver trays of marigold and red and white flower garlands, and a bundle of folded white cloth. A bald man in white shirt and white dhoti carries a tray of flowers and a long braid of garland. Behind them, other devotees in orange robes and malas carry trays of flowers and cloth as part of a dhwajarohanam procession.2013-12-18Outdoor procession on a dirt path beside a stone wall and trees. In the foreground a man in white shirt plays a long wind instrument (nadaswaram-style). Behind him, a woman in an orange-red sari carries a metal tray of marigolds, red and white flowers. Several men in orange-red robes with rudraksha malas walk in the procession, some with shaved heads. To the right, a man in white carries a tray of white and red garlands, and a bundle of straw or rope is visible. A few more people in white and orange follow. The scene suggests a ritual procession with flower offerings.2013-12-18December 18 20132013-12-18May 31 20122012-05-31June 23 20132013-06-23 +1 copiesA festival procession outdoors with a line of women in rust-orange and brown saris and white cream-toned saris moving past a blurred green background. In the foreground, a woman in a rust-brown sari with a rudraksha mala holds a copper tray decorated with a yellow flower garland, pink cloth and gold beads. Beside her, a young man on the left, bare-chested with orange dhoti, a rudraksha mala and ceremonial beaded necklaces, holds a tall yellow pole. Behind them, women in cream and gold-bordered saris and rust-coloured garments stand in a line, several holding offering trays, with a few more people in white behind them.2017-03-11Outdoor procession on bare dirt ground at an ashram, with a white and tan parasol held over a bearded man in a rust-orange long-sleeved top and rust-orange dhoti walking centre-right. Behind him a bare-chested young man in saffron dhoti and garlands carries a flower-decked offering. Other attendants in white dhotis, rudraksha malas and orange saris walk beside them, and women on the left stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. A red building with air conditioners stands in the background. The bearded man in orange is clearly visible and in a clear role, but his face-based identity is not established by visible cues beyond the setting, so the a person field is set to unsure.2016-12-30March 11 20172017-03-11 +1 copies
