A crowded indoor procession inside an orange-draped tent hall at a Kumbha Mela camp, with orange and red flags raised across the floor and green carpet underfoot. In the foreground a figure in an orange robe and a pink knitted turban faces away from the camera, while beside them a woman in white with rudraksha beads and white forehead markings walks among many people in white, saffron and maroon clothes. A cameraperson with a video camera stands at left. Chandeliers hang from the ceiling and framed printed posters line the orange walls. A decorated palanquin or ratha glows at the far end of the hall, and numerous devotees fill the aisle.

A crowded orange-walled tent interior at the Kumbh Mela camp during an evening gathering, with many people in white and orange clothing carrying orange flags with logos. In the foreground a man in an orange shawl and a pink-beaded cap faces away from the camera, beside a bearded man in a cream knit cap wearing a rudraksha-style necklace. A woman in a white sari and black top holds a small object, and a man in a grey shawl wearing a gold-coloured necklace stands at the right edge. Hanging banners and white and red ornamental strips decorate the walls, and a camera operator with a video rig stands at left. The orange-clad figure in the foreground shows the cues of a person: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a beaded head covering, placed among devotees in the procession area.

A long covered hall with a corrugated metal roof and a central red carpet runway flanked by metal railings. Dozens of people stand in two rows facing inward with palms pressed together in namaskar. On the left, many women wear orange and red saris and men wear orange and cream clothing. On the right, men wear white dhotis and cream or pink shawls, with some in white. Strings of yellow and green leaves hang from the ceiling, and framed photographs line the side walls. A lit corridor extends into the distance. No individual can be confidently identified as the swami from appearance alone.

A photograph of a devotional gathering in a covered hall with an orange-painted interior and a metal-railed walkway. Devotees in white clothing stand with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, facing toward a shrine at the left where a deity murti in red and gold sits. A saffron-robed figure stands in the foreground near the railing, joined by a shaven-headed man in orange robes with hands folded at the center. Decorative white star-shaped hanging ornaments and colourful painted pillars frame the room, with framed pictures on the wall at the right. The scene suggests a padapuja or darshan, with devotees gathered in prayer.
