A multi-panel collage of video-conference screens showing yoga and meditation sessions at several centres, each labelled on a placard: St. Louis, Atlanta Ujjain, Toronto Kailasam, Houston Kailasam and St. Louis Trinity. Participants in casual and salwar-style clothing sit on mats, cushions and chairs in home or hall settings, some with flowers, a red curtain and altar elements. In the lower right panel, a bald man in a white sleeveless top and green trousers with a pendant necklace sits on a cushion before a red-and-gold backdrop, one hand raised near his nose. Because the image is a collage of screens, the people shown are on displays and are not physically present.2011-11-26December 11 20112011-12-11A screen displaying a multi-panel video conference collage of satsang groups from different centres. Panels show small groups seated in homes and rooms: Greensboro North Carolina, Atlanta Ujjain, Calgary Amarnath, Charlotte Srinivasam, Toronto Kailash and Dallas Dwarka captions appear on the panels. Several participants wear white, saffron and blue clothing. In the bottom right panel, a man in saffron robes and a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate golden throne flanked by brass lamps, with a carved arch behind him, and appears to be the central speaker. The arrangement is a graphic composite of separate video feeds, with no physical people in the room photographed directly.2011-11-11May 13 20122012-05-13 +2 copiesOctober 08 20132013-10-08A photograph of a large video-wall screen showing a grid of live video-conference feeds for a satsang, with a cinema-like frame and a grey wall around it. Each tile is labelled with a city-and-temple name, including Houston Kalashasthi, Charlotte Srisailam, Los Angeles Arunachala, Ohio Prayag, San Jose Madurai, Sharjah, Oklahoma Somanatham, Toronto Kailasam, Kuala Lumpur Palani and Seattle Chidambaram. Participants sit on mats and cushions in ashram-style rooms; some wear saffron and orange robes, others white, and several have shaved or covered heads. One Toronto tile shows a man in dark robes and a head covering seated by a small offering. Altars with deity murtis, orange drapes and a large framed portrait appear in several tiles. The screen shows people only on screens, so no physical participants are in the photographed room; the feeds show seated devotees in groups.2013-11-15November 11 20112011-11-11January 20 20132013-01-20 +2 copiesA photograph of a large wall-mounted video display showing a nine-panel video call grid of devotees seated in home shrine rooms in different cities. Participants sit on mats and cushions before altars with flowers, fruit plates, deity pictures and oil lamps. In the bottom-right panel a bald man in an orange garment with beaded necklace appears on screen, and the grid includes a shaved-head man in white with rudraksha beads in the Victoria panel. Eight to ten physical people are visible across the rooms.2011-11-20A photograph of a large video-conference screen split into a grid of live feeds from multiple centres. Tiles labelled Houston Kalamasthi, Charlotte Srisailam, Los Angeles Arunachala, Sharjah, Kuala Lumpur Palani, Toronto Kailasam, San Jose Madurai and Chidambaram show people seated on mats and sofas in ashram-style rooms, several in orange or saffron robes and white clothing. One tile shows a figure in orange robes with a kumkum mark seated before a deity altar. A figure in a dark robe stands in the Toronto tile. The feeds show satsang and Nayana Deeksha sessions, with a shrine and framed portraits visible in several rooms. Physical people are counted from the feeds only, as the screen itself displays them.2013-11-15November 29 20112011-11-29December 27 20112011-12-27
