Women sit in a long row on a red mat under a tent decorated with strings of small triangular flags and bunting, eating a meal served on fresh green banana leaves with rice and curried vegetables, and drinking from paper cups. Most wear orange shawls over white saris; one woman in the front right wears orange with glasses and bangles. Behind them, men in white dhotis and shirts walk or stand among white plastic chairs and red tables, and a man in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala stands at the right edge. The scene resembles a communal feeding (annadan) at an ashram event.
