December 23 20082008-12-23Outdoor photograph of a group of young trainees walking in a line along a dirt path near a white building and green trees. A woman in the centre wears a white blouse and skirt with an orange shawl and holds a staff; a man in white with an orange shawl walks behind. Two girls on the right wear orange sarongs with yellow borders and orange head wraps. Visible rear-facing figures suggest a monastic training walk. A central figure with long dark hair and a broad smile wears an orange-red robe, a white-and-red flower garland, and a long strand of beads, gesturing with both hands as they walk. Flanking them, a bearded man in orange robes and a rudraksha-style bead necklace walks to the right, and a man at left in orange carries a golden staff with a tasselled finial while another holds a golden ceremonial mace. Behind them, a man in white with a lanyard stands beside a golden throne with red cushions, and several women in white and light clothing stand near the back. A red-and-orange flag with a circular emblem is raised at upper right. a person: the central figure has long swept-back hair, a flower garland and a long bead necklace, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2009-12-29A photograph inside a long open-sided hall with a corrugated roof and exposed steel trusses, where a barefoot figure with long dark hair in an orange-saffron cloth walks down a central aisle lined with woven striped mats. Standing on either side, saffron-robed monks and women in orange saris with folded hands line the path, while a man in white clothes stands at the right near a small table with ritual items. A string of orange pennants hangs from the roof beams.2007-02-23Indoor photo at night of a devotional gathering with many people in white and orange clothing. In the centre-right foreground a young man with long dark hair and a smile wears an orange-saffron robe over a rust-coloured inner garment and has a red tilak on his forehead; he stands out as the main subject. Around him, women in white sarees with gold borders and orange shawls, and men in white kurtas and dhotis with orange shawls, stand and move among orange and red floor mats. Above, hanging decorations in yellow, orange and red with tinsel strings and bright tube lights are visible. The young man in orange is an appearance-based candidate; the page states a person was at this event, but his identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.2007-02-25A photograph of a line of saffron-robed sannyasis in a hall with pale pink walls and a polished floor. In the foreground a shaved-headed man in orange cloth with a red and gold border bends forward, reaching out his hands toward a smiling monk in a dark red shawl and rudraksha mala. Behind them, many orange-clad men stand shoulder to shoulder, some with hands extended in greeting, and a woman in white stands at the left edge.
