May 27 20062006-05-27A photograph of an outdoor ritual on stone steps by the Ganga at Gangotri. A person with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron robe, a long gold-and-beaded necklace and dark rudraksha-style mala beads, sits with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes closed and smiling. Behind, another person in orange clothing is partly visible. To the left, a fire pit with flames, brass pots, a brass bowl and a metal tray with offerings sit beside the steps. Several people in orange robes sit on the steps in the background, with blue-and-white striped poles framing the scene. A water bottle, a red bucket and sneakers lie nearby.2006-05-27A photograph of a man with long, swept-back dark hair and a small red bindi with white vertical markings on his forehead, standing in profile with his palms pressed together in namaste near his chin. He wears a saffron-orange shawl draped over his shoulders and a heavy gold beaded necklace. A second person in white stands partly visible at the right edge, and a blurred figure in yellow appears at the left. The background shows an outdoor event setting with a blurred purple logo at the top left. Swamiji (probable): the long hair, saffron shawl, and ornate gold necklace match the appearance cues, and the figure is in a devotional posture at a satsang-type event.2010-02-12A man with long, swept-back dark hair stands in profile with palms pressed together in anjali mudra at chest height. He wears a saffron-orange shawl draped over his shoulders and a heavy ceremonial necklace of large gold beads with black bands, and has a red bindi and white tilak on his forehead. He wears an orange saffron shawl over bare shoulders with a gold-coloured ornate necklace of beads with dark stripes, and a red and white forehead mark. A red flower garland is visible at the lower left edge. The background is a plain pale wall. Appearance-based candidate: Swamiji (probable), shown in prayerful greeting with saffron shawl, long hair and gold beaded necklace.2010-09-24Close side profile of a man with long, wavy black hair and a red tilak on his forehead, eyes closed and palms pressed together in anjali mudra before his chest. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment with a gold edge and a long gold-beaded necklace with dark bands. A microphone is visible at the right edge, and a blurred red floral garland appears at the lower left. Appearance cues (long swept hair, saffron clothing, ornate gold necklace) are consistent with the page's reference to a person, so this is a probable in-person candidate.2010-09-24Close side-profile photograph of a young man with long, dark, wavy hair falling past his shoulders, pressing his palms together in anjali mudra near his face, eyes lowered in prayer. He wears an orange-saffron top with a gold necklace of ornate beads around his neck. Behind him, blurred figures in orange robes stand against a pale stone or plaster surface on the left.
