A group of about a dozen men in white shirts, lungis and sarongs stand and crouch among dirt mounds, some working near the ground. Stacked black pipes lie across the foreground, and a corrugated blue metal sheet rests on the dirt, weighted with reddish stones. A motorcycle is parked at the left edge. No deity, shrine or a person depiction is visible.A photograph of a group of men digging a large earthen pit outdoors beside a white-washed building with ventilation screens and a leafy tree. Several workers stand around the excavation: one in a white shirt and checked lungi holds a shovel, another in a white vest and grey shorts works in the pit, and a man in a white turban and checked lungi holds a long pole. Others wear checked headcloths and loose shirts, and some are shirtless. Piles of reddish soil surround the hole, and a wooden pole lies across the scene.2006-10-24
