A group of eight men in white dhotis and white shirts sit on blue plastic chairs in front of a gold curtain, with a wall fan and pink tiled wall behind them. Two men stand at the back. The seated man second from left in the front row has glasses and a white-striped vibhuti/tilak mark on his forehead, and another man in front wears glasses and a gold wristwatch. A purple logo with a stylised bird appears on the wall at the upper right. Their hands are folded or resting on their laps. The scene looks like a casual group portrait at a convention-style venue, with no a person visible.November 20 20032003-11-20A photograph of men seated in plastic chairs at an evening indoor gathering, watching attentively toward the stage. A man in a white kurta with a goatee sits in the centre, and to the left an older man in a white shirt with a moustache looks on. Behind them a red curtain and other attendees in white and pink shirts are visible. Behind them, other men in checked or white shirts, some wearing glasses, sit in rows. No ceremonial figure is visible in the frame.2006-03-11A seated audience of men in white shirts and dhotis fills rows of red-cushioned chairs in a bright hall with yellow curtains. A man in a blue shirt and a man in a checked shirt sit near the front, and a young boy in a blue shirt sits among them. A cameraman operates a video camera on a tripod at left. In the upper right, a small altar area with a lit lamp is visible behind the crowd, but no clearly recognisable a person is shown in front of it. Several people wear rudraksha or lanyards around their necks.2013-03-03A seated audience fills a hall with white walls, yellow and green curtains, and red-cushioned chairs. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, while a few wear checked or plain blue and peach shirts. A boy in a blue striped shirt sits near the centre, and two women in colourful saris sit on the left. A video camera on a tripod is visible at left-centre, and a person stands at the back near the windows. No speaker or person on a dais is clearly visible in this frame, so no a person candidate is identified.2013-03-03Five men sit in a row of plastic chairs at a long metal-topped table with steel tumblers, in a simple open hall with bamboo blinds and a bundled-sack stack behind them. The man third from left is bare-chested with a red-and-gold wrap, rudraksha-style beads, a red tilak and a beard, arms folded. Two men on the right wear white shirts, one with a white moustache and one with white hair; the left two wear checked and striped shirts. Their attention is directed off-frame to the left.2006-12-20A photograph of a seated audience at an indoor session, with white plastic chairs in rows. Men in white shirts and white dhotis wear rudraksha malas, and several have lanyards and name badges. The man at right in front wears an orange lanyard, rests his chin on his hand and looks sideways, and a red-and-white banner is visible in the background. Several attendees have hands folded or resting on their chins while listening.2006-10-07A nighttime crowd photograph of men seated and standing close together, most in white shirts and some in maroon or brown shirts. A man at left wears a brown shirt, has a camera strap across his chest and holds a camera, and a green-and-white ribbon is pinned at the left edge. Several men look upward toward something out of frame, and one man at right rests his hand against his forehead. A man in a dark cap sits in the lower right foreground. The bright flash lighting flattens the scene against a background of other attendees and a railing.2010-12-29September 23 20062006-09-23
