A satsang hall with yellow walls and ceiling fans, where a seated teacher in saffron-orange robes speaks into a microphone on a white-covered seat, with a floral arrangement beside him. Rows of seated devotees fill the floor on striped mats, mostly women with long braids wearing white with orange shawls, and several men in white with orange shawls. A cameraman in white dhoti and orange shawl films with a tripod-mounted camera at left. The seated teacher wears orange, and the dress colours are white and saffron throughout.2008-01-17September 17 20062006-09-17A large indoor hall with a red carpeted stage shows a seated speaker in an orange robe with long dark hair, sitting in a white chair behind a microphone stand, facing a large seated audience. The audience sits cross-legged on red carpet in white shirts and dhotis, many with yellow or saffron shawls and rudraksha-style beads, several with hands folded in greeting. Potted palms stand at the front edge of the stage, with black draped backdrops, speakers, and stage lights overhead. A satsang or discourse setting, with the speaker presiding from a white throne-like seat.2009-02-25A photograph of a seated audience in a plain, whitewashed hall with tiled floor, wooden-shuttered windows and a ceiling fan. At the far right, a figure in orange robes sits on an ornate zebra-patterned chair, with a standing figure in orange nearby at the back of the room. A tripod-mounted video camera and a small speaker on a stand are in the foreground. Some attendees wear white and a woman in a pale yellow sari sits at the right edge. The setting suggests a satsang or discourse session.2012-04-07A photograph of a seated satsang in a open-sided shed with a corrugated metal roof. A figure with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing saffron-orange robes, a white garland with pink, blue and yellow flowers, sits on a raised white seat facing the audience and gestures with a raised hand toward a microphone on a stand. Around thirty or more devotees sit cross-legged on striped mats, mostly men in white dhotis and shirts, some wearing rudraksha malas, with several women in saris at the back, smiling and listening. Flower petals lie at the speaker's feet. The overall impression is a community gathering for discourse.2007-02-24January 02 20122012-01-02Photo of a session in a large hall with white plastic chairs stacked along the back wall. A figure in an orange saffron turban and orange shawl sits at left behind a microphone stand and a low white-draped desk with a silver-edged base, speaking to the group. Around twenty seated attendees sit on striped woven mats on the floor, women mostly in white saris and men in white shirts, several with hands resting on knees or chins. The room has a metal roof frame and cream walls.2004-05-05April 07 20122012-04-07A photograph of a seated audience in a large hall with a corrugated metal roof and stacked white plastic chairs along the back wall. A man in an orange turban and orange wrap sits at the left behind a white-draped table with a microphone stand, addressing the gathering. A few people sit in the rear by the doorway.2004-05-05July 13 20092009-07-13December 12 20092009-12-12A photograph of a large hall with a tent-like white roof and tall decorative pillars wrapped in colourful woven patterns. Dozens of people, mostly women in white clothes with yellow or orange shawls, sit cross-legged on the floor in rows facing right. A man in white stands at left beside a video camera on a tripod. At the right front, a figure in orange robes sits on a zebra-striped throne-like seat, appearing to address the gathering; the figure's appearance is consistent with a person (orange robe and seated on a raised throne), but the face and features are too small to confirm. Mounted microphones and a small banner appear near the stage area.2008-07-17
