October 30 20162016-10-30A photograph of a festive procession down a red carpet under a tent with greenery and colourful hanging decorations. At centre, a bearded man in a rust-brown robe wears a white and pink flower garland and walks ahead of a yellow-and-green ceremonial canopy pole with a multicoloured fringed top. Beside him, a shirtless young man in orange and gold cloth holds the canopy pole, with rudraksha beads visible. On the left, a woman in a teal sari and a man in orange dhoti and gold-bordered shawl stand with palms pressed together, some carrying offerings. Several devotees in white, maroon and orange garments, including a woman in a yellow top, stand along the carpet with hands folded in namaskar.2016-12-15Outdoor procession under a canopy of colourful decorated umbrellas in red, yellow, blue and pink, with a crowd of devotees around. At the centre, a man with a tall red-and-gold turban and a rust-red robe wears a heavy gold necklace and a white-and-pink garland, and he holds a trident-like staff. Around him, saffron-clad devotees wear beaded rudraksha malas, and women in orange, pink and gold saris walk alongside. A figure in a white dhoti stands behind the centre figure, and a shaved-headed boy in saffron is at right. The appearance of the central figure with his turban, distinctive gold ornamentation and ceremonial dress is a probable match for Swamiji, though the identity is uncertain.2016-12-03October 01 20172017-10-01Outdoor procession under a canopy of ornate decorated umbrellas in red, green, yellow and orange with fringed tassels.
