Behind him are a gold-framed arch with painted deity figures and a red velvet curtain hung with brass bells. Gilded lions flank the stage and a gold peacock sits at left beneath a multicoloured ceremonial parasol. Stage lights and a hanging bell line frame the scene. The seated figure's clothing and throne suggest a discourse setting, but his features and appearance are not distinct enough to confirm identity.2017-04-30 +1 copies
