A photograph of a ritual gathering in a hall, with many young priests and devotees seated on the floor in orange and maroon robes. Foreground boys wear orange cloth and rudraksha malas, their foreheads and arms marked with white ash; some hold small items at their hands while sitting before brass puja vessels, small dishes and flowers on low tables. Behind them, rows of seated participants in maroon and red garments and white clothing sit behind rope barriers, with a few standing figures and an older man in white at the right edge. The scene suggests a puja or abhishekam-style ceremony with brass vessels and oil lamps.

Most wear orange and gold-bordered dhotis or wraps, and several have rudraksha malas around their necks. Some have white or sandalwood forehead markings, and one wears a red bindi. Their eyes are closed or lowered as they sit in meditation. Behind them, older men in white and orange sit on the floor, and a wooden door panel is visible on the wall. No one is clearly identifiable as a person in this frame.
