September 01 20062006-09-01November 22 20092009-11-22September 01 20062006-09-01A photograph of a seated figure in orange robes with long dark hair, placing both palms on the heads of two devotees at a stage setting with a golden-upholstered chair, orange flowers and ferns. A man in a red floral Hawaiian shirt and khaki trousers stands bent forward with his eyes lowered, and a woman with long brown hair in an orange striped top kneels with her hands pressed together. Several people in light clothing stand in the dim background. The orange-robed figure appears to be giving blessings through touch; the seated figure is a probable Swamiji by appearance, with long swept-back hair and saffron clothing.2006-09-01February 07 20102010-02-07A seated man in an orange-saffron robe with long, swept-back black hair and a red bindi smiles while placing a ring or small object on the finger of a blonde woman in a white top who holds her palms together. A second woman in white with dark hair looks down in the background beside a vase of pink, orange and white flowers in a hall with wooden floors and folding chairs. Probable Swamiji by visible cues: long dark hair, saffron robe, and a bindi. He appears to be giving a blessing or initiation gesture at a healers' gathering.2006-03-06A candid photograph of three people seated on a white bed in a hotel-style room. A man in a light beige button-up shirt with a small red tilak on his forehead gestures with open hands on the left. In the centre, a woman in a white sari with gold borders and gold bangles holds a blue pen and writes or signs something on a paper. On the right, a person with long dark curly hair, wearing an orange robe and a garland of orange and blue flowers, holds a small tablet or card. A red garment hangs in the background and a white sheet covers the bed.2006-06-11January 20 20102010-01-20Indoor photograph in warm amber light of a seated man with long dark hair wearing an orange-saffron robe and draped orange shawl, smiling and extending his right hand toward a bald older man in a cream-white long-sleeved shirt who bows forward with his head lowered, hands raised near the seated man's palm. Behind them a woman in a cream sari with a necklace stands with hands folded in greeting, and another person in white stands in the background near glass doors and a potted plant. The seated man shows distinctive orange robes and long hair, but the page does not establish his identity, so the appearance-based label is a person only as a cautious candidate.2006-09-03September 01 20062006-09-01An indoor event photo in a hall with a red curtain backdrop and scaffolding behind. In the centre, a bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair and a saffron cloth with red trim, wearing rudraksha-style beaded mala necklaces, leans forward smiling and extends an arm toward an older woman with grey hair in a bun, glasses, a gold necklace and bangles, wearing a teal blouse and white sari with a pale print. She smiles and holds her hands together in greeting. Behind him stands a younger man in saffron robes with a red border and white forehead markings. A woman in orange and a person in white stand at the left edge.2006-10-21A photograph of a devotee in a white shirt leaning forward to clasp the hands of a long-haired figure seated at right, who wears an orange saffron wrap, a white jasmine garland with pink and orange flowers, and is bare-chested. Behind them, a man in an orange shawl over white clothes and a woman in white watch, while a fan is visible at right. Four physical people are visible.2006-10-21
