December 14 20072007-12-14Photograph of a seminar hall during a person Spurana Program session in Salem. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits on a white cushioned seat on a raised stage, holding papers. Many participants in front have white blindfolds tied over their eyes, some wearing white, green and yellow saris. Behind the stage hang pink and red draped fabrics and flower garlands, and a banner reads Nithyananda Spurana Dhyanamandram Salem. A chart of concentric coloured rings with labelled circles hangs on the right, and a large portrait of a man is displayed on the left. Ceiling fans are visible.2006-07-29December 12 20072007-12-12A wide photograph inside a large white tent during a person Spurana program, showing a dense crowd of people standing in rows with white cloth bands tied across their foreheads. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, with some in light colours, and many have garlands or lanyards. In the left foreground, a figure in a saffron-orange robe with long swept-back hair stands near a yellow drape and a blue carpeted stage edge, with a cooler unit beside them. Blue backdrop draping and floral decorations with framed portraits are visible at the back. Visible people number in the hundreds, so the scene counts as 100+.2006-12-15December 15 20062006-12-15December 12 20072007-12-12February 25 2009 Nithyananda Spurana Convention2009-02-25A seated crowd fills a white-walled hall at an indoor session. Most attendees wear white clothing, many with white headbands, and some have lanyards with name badges. In the foreground, women in white and cream sit cross-legged on colourful mats. Behind them rows of seated participants extend back toward the stage. Two men near the top of the rear area stand or sit upright above the crowd. A purple banner on the left wall shows a printed portrait with a caption, and yellow-and-blue hanging banners decorate the upper wall. A tripod-mounted camera stands at the left edge.2008-06-22A large indoor hall under a white tented ceiling with blue trim, ceiling fans and hanging lights, filled with a dense crowd of hundreds of people in white clothing and white headbands, standing in rows and listening attentively. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, and some women wear saris. A partially visible figure in the lower right wears an orange-saffron head wrap, possibly a presenter or speaker seen from behind. Stage lights and scaffolding poles are visible above the crowd, and a screen is visible in the background.2007-12-12A large indoor satsang hall packed with many seated devotees, most dressed in white shirts and white dhotis, with white cloth blindfolds tied over their eyes. Rows of participants face forward toward the front of the hall, some with arms raised. Wall-mounted framed photographs and a framed portrait of a woman in red hang on the pale walls, and a small lit flame and deity shrine are visible at the left edge. The scene suggests a group meditation session, with the blindfolded crowd sitting in silent practice.2016-04-10July 12 20092009-07-12July 30 20062006-07-30
