A seated group of men in a temple hall performs a ritual, many bare-chested with rudraksha malas and white dhotis. Two men in the foreground, one with reddish-blond hair and a beard, the other with swept-back hair and a pendant, hold small brass spoons and a vessel while pouring or offering. A man in a white shirt and gold necklace sits behind them, and a black metal grille separates the seated crowd behind. Colourful striped mats cover the floor, with brass pots and white cloths nearby. Several men are visible, some partly cut off at the edges, and the atmosphere appears devotional, consistent with a homa or abhishekam ritual.2016-12-12January 06 20172017-01-06May 25 20172017-05-25January 06 20172017-01-06A row of seated devotees in a hall performs a puja, each sitting on a pink mat before brass oil lamps and small ritual plates with flowers and offerings.
