July 01 20162016-07-01July 01 20162016-07-01A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a long swept-back hairstyle, white vibhuti on his forehead, a white and red flower garland and a brown rudraksha mala, receives a blessing as a younger man in a white kurta with an orange-and-gold printed shawl places his palm on his forehead. The younger man's hands are raised in a gesture of reverence. A gold pole, red cushioned seat and red draped backdrop frame the scene, with a ceiling fan and a brass lamp visible behind. The seated man matches the swamiji presentation cues of long hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and garland, so this is a probable Swamiji in person receiving a blessing.2016-07-01A photograph of a ceremonial moment in a red-draped hall. A man with long swept-back dark hair, a white tilak and red bindi, wearing a red-orange shawl over bare shoulders and a heavy gold bead necklace, reaches forward to touch the forehead of a grey-haired man in a white shirt and an orange-red printed scarf. The recipient holds his palm up in front of his face. Behind them stand a golden throne-like seat with a carved cobra-hood motif, a silver staff entwined with a black serpent, and a peacock-feather fan at left. Appearance-based a person, a leader performing a blessing on a devotee.2014-07-27A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a gold-yellow tilak on his forehead and a long dark braid, wearing a thick rudraksha mala with a gold pendant, places his right hand on the forehead of a bearded devotee in a white kurta. The devotee kneels with palms pressed together and wears a red-orange shawl printed with repeated Sanskrit-style text. Behind them, a row of people in white clothes and orange shawls stand in a hall with white floor cloths and a small orange-trimmed table holding a black electronic device. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation moment. The seated figure appears to match the Swamiji (probable) cues of long swept-back hair, saffron robes, and rudraksha mala, and is shown in person in this photograph.2015-10-10Indoor satsang or initiation-style gathering in a hall with a red backdrop and a gold ornamental pillar. A bare-shouldered figure with a long dark braid, wearing a rust-orange cloth and a dark beaded rudraksha-style mala, has a gold-painted forehead and presses a hand to the forehead of a smiling middle-aged man with short grey hair, white shirt and an orange-red scarf printed with script, plus an orange lanyard badge. Other people in white shirts and matching red-orange shawls with lanyards stand and wait behind, and a woman with white curly hair is at left. Water bottles, a cup and a small black case sit on an orange cloth table in front.2015-10-10September 20 20152015-09-20July 14 20142014-07-14July 01 20162016-07-01June 27 20162016-06-27A seated man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a rust-red robe, a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklaces, reaches out to touch the forehead of a standing man in a white dhoti with a rust-red shawl printed with script.
