A photograph of a tiered altar draped in gold and orange striped silk, covered with rows of white conch shells lit with green light. At the top sits a decorated deity murti or kalasha adorned with coloured ribbons and a garland, flanked by red drapes. To the right, a figure in white and striped cloth sits behind the altar, partly visible at the edge. No prominent person is clearly identifiable as a person, so this is an altar scene with a seated attendant.

A tiered pyramid of white conch shells, many with pointed tips upward, arranged in concentric rows on red and gold silk cloth layered over sand or rice. Brass oil lamps stand at the base on a red-striped mat, with orange marigold garlands and a gold-framed throne-like seat to the left. Background shows a framed painting, hanging garlands and a person in gold-bordered white dhoti. No people are clearly visible as the focus.

A photograph of a tiered ritual arrangement inside a red-and-white tent. Dark black stones. At the top sits a large deity murti with a tall ornate headdress, partly covered by orange drapery. To the left, a row of seated figures in white garments with red cloths sits behind a red-covered table, and a person in red clothing is partly visible at the left edge. A photograph inside a covered hall showing a tiered circular stand of white oil lamps arranged in four rings on a green cloth, with a lit oil lamp in the foreground. Behind it stands an ornate decorated structure with a pink and red canopy and a murti of a deity with crown and garlands on a green and red draped platform. On the right, several men in saffron-orange robes and orange turbans stand with hands folded, one in a white dhoti. Smoke rises at the right edge near metal vessels on a striped carpet.

A tiered arrangement of white conch-shaped shells stands on a stepped platform draped with red silk cloth edged in gold brocade, with rice scattered between the tiers. Brass oil lamps stand in rows at the left, and a black stone Shiva lingam with a yellow-orange flower garland sits in the background beside a brass throne with a golden base. Partial figures in orange and white clothing appear at the edges of the frame. The setting is a temple hall with a red-patterned floor mat.
