A man in a red turban and saffron-red robes with gold trim, wearing a large gold pendant and red-orange beaded mala, stands at center while a man in a beige kurta kneels barefoot at his feet. Around him, several people in red and saffron robes with gold borders and orange garlands stand and look on; a shaved-headed monk in saffron wears an orange shawl. Trees, a stone wall and a street light form the backdrop.

Outdoor photograph at a Kumbh Mela setting with a dirt ground and a yellow-ochre painted wall. A tall man in a maroon-and-gold dhoti and a red turban, wearing a heavy gold necklace and a red-beaded bracelet on his upper arm, stands at the centre with his hand extended toward a man in white kurta and orange dhoti who bows low before him. Beside him, two bald sadhus in maroon robes with gold sashes and gold necklaces look on. To the right, a man with a red turban wears a pink-orange robe and rudraksha mala, and bearded sadhus in orange robes stand nearby with hands folded. Four men in saffron robes and a seated figure appear as partially visible people. The tall central figure with the turban and ornate gold necklace matches the a person cues of a turban and ornate gold ceremonial jewellery, so he is treated as a candidate present in person.
