A close-up photograph of a ritual setting on a glossy white floor. On the left, a stack of yellow turmeric-coated blocks is bound with white thread. In the centre, a white plate holds a folded gold-and-white patterned cloth bundle with small white items beside it, possibly offerings. Scattered pink flower petals lie on the floor. In the background, the legs of a person in light blue jeans and the white dhoti-like garments of others are partly visible, with a blurred gold object at the top edge.2012-04-23April 23 20132013-04-23April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesDecember 25 20132013-12-25November 01 20112011-11-01A close photograph of a bundled white cloth tied with a teal and gold-bordered woven fabric, resting on a polished silver metal tray. A turmeric-yellow coconut wrapped in white cotton thread sits on a brass plate garlanded with pink and yellow marigolds and green leaves. A person in white clothing with gold bangles and a red-beaded necklace winds white thread around the coconut while another person's hand, in an orange garment, is visible at the left edge. A brass bowl and spoon sit beside the plate.2007-02-15Close-up photograph of a white cloth bundle wrapped and tied at the top, set on a clear glass plate held by a hand at the lower right. The bundle is decorated with a yellow marigold-type flower tucked at its side and a red and yellow kumkum/turmeric mark on top. The background is softly blurred, with a glimpse of another glass dish and orange fruit at left. No full faces are visible, and the bundle appears to be a ritual offering of the kind brought in procession.2016-01-02
