Several men in saffron-orange robes and bare upper bodies carry tall silver trident-tipped staffs and a saffron pennant, while one figure in the centre wears a red-and-white garland and a bold forehead marking. A man in white dhoti and white shirt on the right holds a camera. Behind them stands a large red-and-gold palanquin-style canopy and a stone deity statue. Brass lamps and a kalasha sit on the floor, with a bundle of orange cloth strips in front. Behind him a bald man in a red-and-gold dhoti carries a tall wooden staff, and a second man in similar red robes raises a pointing finger. Several rows of people in saffron-orange robes walk with hands folded in prayer, and a woman in a yellow shawl and white sari stands among them. A decorated ceremonial umbrella with a red and gold canopy is held aloft, and palm fronds hang overhead. The scene reads as a ritual procession.2014-11-26April 30 20132013-04-30A procession in an open-sided pavilion with a tin roof and palm trees behind.
