December 04 20112011-12-04November 06 20112011-11-06A photograph of two men facing each other in a hall during an oath or vow-taking moment. On the left, a man in a terracotta-orange kurta wears rudraksha and beaded malas and raises both palms outward, smiling. On the right, a bare-shouldered man with hair tied in a bun and a brown rudraksha necklace wears a red-and-gold wrap, holding a printed sheet of text and looking toward the first man. Behind them a cameraman operates a tripod-mounted camera, and other people in white clothing stand in the blurred background.2011-09-04 +1 copiesA photograph of two men seated face to face in a bright room with pale walls. On the left, a man with swept-back dark hair and a white tilak on his forehead wears a draped saffron-orange cloth over his shoulder and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace; he sits on a red cushioned seat and extends one hand toward the other man. On the right, a young man in a lime-green t-shirt with a rudraksha mala and orange thread holds both hands raised in a gesturing, explanatory pose. Blurred deity figures, one in a red headdress, stand at the left edge beside a potted plant, and a yellow-orange cloth rests on the seat. The left man has distinctive saffron and ornate cues, so he is a person; the right man is a devotee or participant.2012-10-08A bare-shouldered man in a green and red-bordered garment places his right palm on the forehead of a seated man in a white shirt with a dark tie, who has his hands pressed together in greeting. Behind them a camera on a tripod and several onlookers in white are visible, and a white floor-standing cooling unit stands against a peach wall. A bald-headed man in white with a rudraksha mala sits at lower left. The blessing gesture is performed in a meeting room setting.2011-12-04A photograph of two men facing each other in an indoor room with pale peach walls, a white floor-standing air conditioner unit on the left and a potted plant in the background. The man on the right stands in an orange and gold-bordered saffron garment draped over the shoulder, wears a long rudraksha mala with dark beads, and has long swept-back dark hair; he holds a small white card or paper slip and looks down at it. The man on the left kneels in a peach-orange shirt with short dark hair and a goatee, looking up toward him with a reverent posture. A small brass lamp stands at right. Swamiji (probable) is the standing figure, shown in appearance-based cues: long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, while the kneeling man is a devotee. Two physical people are visible.2011-11-29February 09 20122012-02-09November 06 20112011-11-06A photograph of two people exchanging a small folded paper in an indoor room with a beige wall, a wall-mounted air conditioner and a blurred plant. On the left, a smiling man in a bright blue polo shirt with white collar stripes and a rudraksha-style mala holds out his hand, with a red tilak on his forehead. On the right, a smiling person with long dark hair, wearing an orange and red silk garment and a dark rudraksha bead necklace, holds a white paper slip and looks down at it. A brass oil lamp stands in the background. The woman's appearance with long hair, orange clothing and rudraksha beads suggests a person in a satsang or darshan exchange, though identity is uncertain.2011-11-29June 22 20122012-06-22 +1 copiesJuly 09 20122012-07-09July 07 20122012-07-07
