June 24 20122012-06-24 +1 copiesA photograph of a darshan blessing at a satsang gathering. A man in a white shirt bends forward with his head lowered while a figure with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing a white dhoti with a gold border, rudraksha mala necklaces and beaded bracelets, places his right hand on the devotee's head. The blessing figure holds a folded white paper in his left hand, and a silver tray with offerings is visible at the lower right. Behind them, several men in white and orange clothing stand watching, including a man with white vibhuti and a tilak on his forehead wearing a white cloth, and an orange-robed attendant at the left edge. Orange and yellow cloth hangs in the background.2011-02-14A photograph of a man with long swept-back dark hair wearing a red shawl over bare shoulders, a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant necklace with a pearl strand, holding a folded white paper and gesturing with his right hand while speaking to an older man in glasses, a white shirt and a moustache who has his hand on his chest. Behind them, several people in white and green clothing stand in a crowded hall with blue draped fabric, and a bare-chested man in white stands in the background.2011-02-16June 18 20132013-06-18A man in a long-sleeved white kurta with a saffron cloth around his neck, glasses on, hands pressed together in namaste, bows his head while a figure in ochre-orange robes places a hand on his crown. The blessing figure has long dark hair swept back, wears a tilak, a small gold earring, layered rudraksha-style beads and a heavy ceremonial gold bead necklace with a crystal mala, and holds a sheet of paper in the other hand. Behind them a second robed figure in ochre stands near a maroon curtain and a yellow banner, with a few other people at the edge of the frame. The blessing figure has distinctive long swept-back hair, ochre robes and ornate gold necklaces, consistent with the Swamiji (probable) candidate; the kneeling man is a devotee receiving blessing.2013-05-04June 22 20122012-06-22 +1 copiesPhotograph of a man in saffron-orange draped cloth, bare-chested with a long swept-back hairstyle, a crown-like hair tie, a gold earring and a long rudraksha mala of brown beads, smiling as he hands an object across to a man in a white shirt and white dhoti who wears a gold wristwatch and extends his hand. Other men stand behind them in white and light shirts, one with a vertical white tilak on his forehead, in a pillared hall with arched windows and a blue-painted panel. The white-clad man appears to be receiving something from the saffron-clad man in a devotional setting.2012-06-21June 10 20132013-06-10A photograph of a ceremonial blessing at an indoor hall. The robed figure has long swept-back dark hair, a small red bindi, and a striped sacred mark on his forehead. Two other men in white and cream shirts stand close behind, and a figure in white is partly visible at the edge. The bare-armed figure leans in, smiling, while the older man raises a hand in front. A red curtain hangs behind them, a white cabinet-style unit stands at right, and another person in white sits in soft focus behind.
