Indoor procession in a pale pink hall with red-cushioned chairs. A central man in a pink silk shawl over a dark garment wears a large gold ornate crown, a white and orange flower garland, a gold bead necklace, and a red tilak, smiling and raising one hand in greeting. He appears to be a probable Swamiji (probable), identified by the ornate crown, distinctive pink garment and gold necklace. To his left a man in plain white dhoti with a gold border walks beside him, and behind them several people in white, green and light clothing follow, with a ceremonial umbrella visible at the left edge.2010-12-26December 26 20102010-12-26Photograph of a procession inside a white tented hall with a green carpet and a red carpet runner. At centre, a smiling man in saffron-orange robes, a thick gold-and-beaded necklace and a rudraksha mala, with sandalwood tilak on his forehead, raises one hand in greeting while holding a tall red staff topped with a crystal canopy and a gold finial. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold borders and bare shoulders walk in step, several wearing rudraksha malas and gold necklaces; others in orange and red robes walk behind. Overhead are tent lights and cooling units.2016-04-17A photograph of people walking together along a long, pillared temple corridor with carved stone walls and a sculpted lion-like relief at right. In the centre, a man with long swept-back hair, an ornate gold-coloured necklace and an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl walks beside a man in a pink striped shirt and dark trousers. Swamiji (probable): the central figure wears long swept-back hair, a gold ceremonial necklace and saffron clothing, and is being escorted by the group. Around them, saffron-robed attendants, a man in a white shirt holding a red and yellow flower garland, and other men in white shirts and light clothing walk along the corridor.2012-09-11May 12 20122012-05-12A photograph of a central figure in a pink saffron-toned robe and a white jasmine garland, wearing a tall gold crown with jewelled detailing and multiple gold beaded necklaces. He smiles broadly and raises his right hand in a wave. Beside him to the left, a man in a white dhoti with a gold border and a red tilak stands, and to the right a man in a white garment with a yellow-green shawl and a white forehead tilak walks. Behind them, a group of boys and men, including a laughing child in a striped shirt, watch in a pink-walled hall decorated with colourful striped pillars and an orange canopy. Awareness of the figure's identity is probable from visible cues: a crown, ornate gold jewellery and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, but appearance-based only.2010-12-26A photograph of a welcome procession inside a hall. A central figure in a deep red-orange turban, red-orange silk garment with gold border, layered gold necklaces and bangles walks forward smiling, holding red roses. Around him, women in white and cream saris and men in white kurtas line the path, holding roses and reaching out, with rose petals in the air. Some women wear vibhuti and kumkum. A doorway with an arched window stands behind. A probable Swamiji figure is present, identified by the turban, swept-back presentation, ornate gold jewellery and saffron-red dress, and is receiving the welcome. Several people are visible.2015-05-07A photograph of a smiling man in a golden jeweled crown and pink silk garment, wearing a white jasmine garland with red flowers, a long gold bead necklace, and a gold armlet. He raises his right hand in a greeting wave while walking through a hall. Behind him, a man in white dhoti with a yellow-gold shawl walks alongside, and other people in white and casual clothing move through the room. Hanging banners with yellow and blue patterns and orange tassels decorate the pillars. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure, identified by the crown, pink robe, garlands and gold ornaments.2010-12-26A photograph of a long-haired man with swept-back dark hair, wearing a white and gold-bordered shawl over white clothing and a large layered garland of white, pink and red flowers with a gold pendant, walking barefoot with palms pressed together in greeting. Behind him a crowd stands with hands in anjali; a man in cream kurta and white dhoti wears a white shawl, a woman wears an orange and green silk sari, and several women in white garments stand nearby. Hanging on the wall behind is an orange banner with a partial white-turbaned portrait. A tripod and camera are visible at the right edge.2006-04-30A procession inside a hall with a green floor. In the centre, a smiling man with swept-back dark hair and a tilak wears a rust-orange robe, a rudraksha mala with a gold ceremonial necklace, and holds a red staff topped with a golden finial. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold borders and rudraksha malas walk, some carrying a red staff and one with a bare chest and gold armband. Behind them stand people in saffron-orange robes, drums and cloth bundles are visible on the right, and the background shows a gilded panel and white-walled stage area. Presentation cues for the central figure are distinctive, so this is a person in person.2016-04-17 +1 copiesNovember 11 20132013-11-11July 07 20142014-07-07
