A wide roadside photograph of a procession along a tree-lined highway on a cloudy day. On the left, a palm-lined grass verge holds a red hatchback and a silver car. Several men in white dhotis and kurtas walk in a line, some carrying colourful striped umbrellas, and a man in an orange shirt walks near the front. At the far left, a decorated float or palanquin with orange and gold ornamentation and a figure in orange stands beside a red car. Traffic moves on the road, including a bus and a motorcyclist in a helmet and grey shirt on the right. The scene suggests a padayatra procession on the roadside.

Photograph taken through a vehicle windscreen of a tree-lined road in a town setting. Several people walk along the left side of the road: a man in a white shirt and white trousers in the foreground, a woman in a pink sari, and others in light and dark clothes. A silver SUV and a motorcycle with a rider travel on the road ahead. Stalls with red and yellow awnings line the left edge, and a red-roofed building sits among the trees.

Photograph taken through a vehicle windscreen of a village road lined with trees. A group of about a dozen people walks along the left side of the road, mostly men and women in white clothes and some in casual shirts and trousers; one woman in white raises her hand in greeting. A silver SUV drives on the road ahead, and a small roadside shop with signboards stands at right. A faint reflection of a painted figure in green and orange appears on the glass, not an actual person.

A photograph taken from behind a procession moving along a paved rural road lined with trees and utility poles. At left, an ornately carved wooden chariot with red-and-gold decoration, showing deity murti figures, is pulled along the road. A man in a light shirt walks at the left edge holding a long orange flag, and another person in white walks near the chariot. Motorcycle riders pass in the distance. On the right stands a blue signboard with Tamil text in front of a green gate and white pillars, beside a large tree and a dusty shoulder.

A road procession moves along a tree-lined highway in daylight, with a white van and motorcycle on the left and a line of marchers filling the lane. Men in white dhotis and white shirts walk alongside, many carrying orange flags. In front, several men in orange and green costume lift a palanquin-style canopy decorated with garlands of marigolds and flowers. Drummers in yellow shirts play drums on the right, and a woman in white walks at the edge. Coconut palms and dense green foliage line the roadside.

Photograph taken through a car windscreen on a tree-lined tarmac road in daylight. A silver SUV drives ahead with a spare wheel mounted on its rear. Several people walk along the roadside, including a man in a white shirt and orange-red lungi and a woman in a green sari. Two motorcyclists ride on the right, and a purple dashboard cloth with a white emblem sits in the foreground. Roadside greenery and small colourful banners appear in the background.

A crowded street procession moves down a sunny road lined with parked motorcycles, bicycles and a silver hatchback. Many people in white dhotis and white shirts walk alongside women in orange and saffron saris, some carrying orange and red flags on poles. Two uniformed police officers in khaki stand in the road, one holding a long stick. A pink two-storey building with orange decorative trim and a tiled roof stands on the right, and a thatched hut and palm trees appear beyond. A tarpaulin-covered stall sits at the roadside. A single older man in white walks in the foreground, and two boys in shorts watch from the pavement. Faded signage on the pink building is partly legible.

A roadside photograph of a pada yatra procession walking along a wide paved highway. Many people in white clothes march on the left side of the road, many carrying saffron-orange flags on poles and some holding small white-and-red placards. A woman in an orange sari walks near the front of the group, and several uniformed police officers in khaki accompany the marchers. Cars, a motorcycle and a white bus travel on the road beside them. Palm trees, small shops and low buildings line the roadside under an overcast sky.
