October 01 20062006-10-01A seated man with long, swept-back dark wavy hair wears a saffron-orange robe and a heavy gold necklace with a pendant, plus a gold bracelet on his wrist. He sits on a red granite ledge beside a dark stone deity statue draped with yellow flower garlands, next to a green curtain and a yellow-and-red patterned step. The floor is wet and reflective. Another dark stone sculpture is partly visible at the right edge. Cues include long hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold adornment, consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, so the appearance-based label applies.2006-10-01September 30 20062006-09-30A photograph inside a white marble temple hall. On the left, a figure in a saffron-orange robe with a long dark hair and a white-and-multicoloured flower garland walks barefoot across the polished floor, smiling toward a dark stone deity murti standing on a plinth, draped in a red-and-gold sari-like garment with a green curtain hanging beside it. A gold-coloured elephant trunk shape rises near the frame. Through a doorway on the right, a small lamp stand and a red-and-gold object sit on a yellow-banded platform. Ornate white carved pillars and a wall clock complete the setting.2006-09-26A photograph of a person in an orange saffron wrap and a rudraksha mala standing at left, smiling and gesturing toward three polished black stone deity murtis on a dark stone plinth. The central and left figures show multi-armed forms with crowns, one with a serpent and a bull-like animal at the base. At lower right, silver bowls and a silver tray with a handle sit in the foreground, and a partly visible hand holds a cup. Long dark hair falls past the shoulders of the person at left. A white block wall forms the background. Swamiji (probable): the orange-robed person with long hair, rudraksha mala and saffron wrap is an appearance-based candidate, shown in person.2007-11-15October 01 20062006-10-01November 09 20072007-11-09A photograph inside a temple shrine showing a figure with long dark hair seen from behind, wearing an orange shawl with a red border and orange garment, bowing or offering prayer before a black stone deity murti. The murti is seated on a pedestal, wears a yellow flower garland and has a leaf offering at its base, set within an ornate silver arch with a makara-style crest. Dark red polished stone walls surround the shrine.2006-09-29 +1 copiesA framed portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing saffron robes, a white beaded necklace and a rudraksha mala, seated cross-legged before a tree-root backdrop, is placed on a wicker armchair draped with an orange cloth. The portrait is garlanded with red and white flowers, and a brass plate of flowers and offerings sits on a white pedestal below. Flanking the chair are two dark-skinned female statues in gold and orange sarees with red borders. Behind them, a temple doorway shows a deity murti decorated with garlands, and the floor is polished stone with a patterned rug in the foreground. +1 copiesMarch 29 20092009-03-29February 05 20102010-02-05Photo 111696302006-10-06
