A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron sleeveless garment with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and layered gold necklaces, wearing a multi-coloured garland of pink, teal and yellow flowers, holding a folded paper while placing his hand on the white-haired head of a kneeling devotee in white. Behind him, bright yellow and red flower garlands decorate a red-upholstered chair. To the left, a bald man in orange robes with rudraksha beads smiles. Orange drapery and a blue patterned wall form the backdrop.2012-09-23A photograph of a long-haired man with a dark beard wearing a rust-orange shawl and a white flower garland, placing his right hand on the bald head of a clean-shaven man in a white kurta who stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. The blessing takes place before a warm golden-lit backdrop with ornate carved elements. Behind them, a woman in a white sari and another in maroon stand watching in a bright hall. Looks like a blessing moment in an ashram satsang.2016-10-01May 12 20142014-05-12Photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with long dark swept-back hair and a long beaded shawl, placing his right hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in white ritual dress with a green-bordered shawl and white forehead marking. A gold ornate throne with red cushioning sits behind the seated figure, with green foliage and a red backdrop. Another person in white and saffron robes sits at the right edge beside a brass vessel filled with small green-tinted items. Appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable) cues: long swept-back hair, saffron robe, beaded shawl and gold throne, giving the initiation role.2016-05-06July 03 20122012-07-03September 23 20122012-09-23July 13 20132013-07-13May 05 20152015-05-05 +2 copiesMay 05 20122012-05-05July 03 20122012-07-03A seated man in orange robes wearing long beaded rudraksha-style necklaces, a red bindi and white tilak, with long swept-back dark hair, rests his right hand on the head of a seated man in a white shirt with a red-brown beaded necklace who bows forward. The robed figure holds a small folded white card in his left hand. He sits on a red and leopard-print throne-like seat in front of a painted backdrop of a banyan tree and a carved stone temple figure, with a brass lamp and a metal bowl nearby. Cues consistent with the page are the robes, beads and hair; this is an appearance-based candidate for a person in a blessing or guidance scene.2012-04-06A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, and a long necklace of large gold beads, resting his right hand on the head of a young man kneeling before him. The kneeling man wears a white and blue striped short-sleeved shirt and his hands are clasped near a red cushion. To the left stands a bald man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala, hands folded and smiling. The seated figure sits on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions, and a large banyan tree forms the backdrop. The gathering appears to be a blessing of a devotee on a stage.2010-10-31 +2 copies
