Beside him is a wooden armchair draped with a red woven cloth with gold borders, and in front are two upholstered footstools, one dark green with a floral pattern and one checked. Behind are louvred wooden cupboard doors, a framed picture on the cream wall, a brass wall sconce, and a barred window with leaded glass. A faint purple logo appears in the upper left corner.November 04 20122012-11-04November 28 20082008-11-28January 01 20102010-01-01 +1 copiesDecember 11 20082008-12-11A photograph of a puja arrangement set up in a room with a plain white wall and speckled floor. A large framed portrait on the wall, decorated with a garland of white jasmine and pink and yellow flowers, shows a smiling figure in saffron-orange robes with a white flower necklace, hand raised in blessing, seated before a tree trunk; the portrait is printed, not a physical person. Below it on a low wooden stand draped with an orange cloth sits a black stone Shiva lingam-style object with a small trident, alongside a platter of sweets and a bowl of bananas, oranges and apples on a white cloth with a maroon runner. Brass vessels, a small brass lamp, a book, and trays of sweets and prasad complete the offering. No people are present.2009-08-20Photo 11729178A temple hall interior with a cane throne draped in orange and gold cloth, set on a red patterned rug before a dark stone deity murti in an orange sari with a trident-like emblem. Behind the throne stands a framed portrait of a young man with long hair in orange robes and a beaded necklace seated outdoors. Two tall decorated pillars in red, green and yellow patterns flank the throne, with green leaf garlands strung across the entrance. Two framed photos hang high on the wall: one shows a monk with a devotee and the other shows several monks in orange robes. The floor is polished red marble. No people are physically present.2007-01-01August 21 20122012-08-21 +1 copiesA framed printed portrait of a man in an orange robe, seated cross-legged with one hand raised, is garlanded with red and white flower strands and a mala, set above a striped tiger-print cushioned seat. A fire burns in a stone-lined fire pit in front. The portrait is a depiction, not a person present. Its caption reads Paramahamsa Nithyananda, and the portrait is an appearance-based probable depiction of Swamiji given the orange robe, long hair and rudraksha-style mala.
