2010-WELCOMING-SWAMIJI-AND-BHAKTHI-SPURANA-CONVENTIONA photograph of a long queue of devotees waiting on a dirt path beside a terracotta-coloured building with lattice windows and a thatched roof, in low evening sunlight. Most people wear white: men in white kurta and dhoti, women in white saris with coloured borders, with some in orange, red and teal. A woman in a yellow-orange sari stands at the left edge. Further along the line, a figure in a white garment and yellow shawl stands among the people near the building. Trees and a red-painted post frame the right side.January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA photograph of a crowd of devotees walking along a dusty dirt path between thatched-roof huts and blue tarpaulin. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, many with rudraksha or beaded malas and name badges on their chests. Women in saris, one in red and green with a gold-bordered pink sari, one in red checked silk, another in a dark red sari with gold necklace, walk among them. Blue and white stands out near the top right. The procession moves toward the camera, with no visible a person candidate.2006-12-26January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesOutdoor procession on a dirt road beside a red-walled building with a green metal roof and a small flag on a pole behind. A barefoot figure in long dark hair and a saffron-orange shawl, with a gold necklace, walks at the centre; the figure's cues are long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold adornment, so this is probable Swamiji, shown in person, but the identification rests on appearance alone. Around them, people in white ritual clothes walk with a bearded man in white wearing a rudraksha mala and a woman in a white sari, and young people in white with rudraksha malas and name badges. Several pairs of sandals sit by the wall. Many more people stand in the background.2005-12-31August 23 20152015-08-23A photograph of a dusty unpaved path lined with a tall orange-red wall and trees, where a long column of people walks toward the camera in a procession. Two women in front wear maroon and red saris with orange shoulder scarves; one carries a small object. Behind them, women in white kurtas and orange stoles, a woman in a pink sari carrying a child, and a row of school-aged children in maroon uniforms with orange scarves follow. Several boys in casual red and grey clothes walk along the right edge. A bald man in white appears further back near the wall.2013-03-02April 02 20122012-04-02October 06 20062006-10-06October 08 20062006-10-08A procession of devotees in white clothing walks along a narrow path between pink-washed walls under warm late-afternoon light. Women in white saris with rudraksha malas and small bindis lead the line, several holding or wearing blue cloth bags, while a man in white shirt and dhoti with a rudraksha mala walks at the left edge. Two orange-red flags on poles rise behind the women at right, and a tree and palm fronds stand in the background. The scene resembles a padayatra or ritual procession, with many participants visible further back.2005-12-31
