October 16 20112011-10-16A photograph of a ritual scene in a temple-style hall. At the centre, a smiling man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi wears a saffron-orange robe and a long rudraksha mala. He stands in front of a richly decorated golden altar with a deity murti. Around him, several men in white dhotis with white ash or tilak marks on their foreheads and arms stand or bend, one holding a folded white cloth with red trim. A man in white holds a silver plate with offerings on the right, and another holds a wooden box. Orange-robed attendants stand behind, and a camera operator is visible at the right edge.2010-10-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple doorway with a green-painted wooden door framed by brass fittings and grey stone walls. A man with long dark hair, white tripundra markings and a red dot on his forehead wears an orange saffron wrap and a long necklace of large gold beads, smiling and gesturing with an open hand as he walks out. To his left stands a bare-chested man with a grey beard, dark rudraksha-style beads and a patterned cloth at the waist. Behind them, men in white dhotis and saffron cloths stand near the entrance. A blue bird logo and copyright text sit in the corners.2012-02-08December 23 20092009-12-23A photograph of a smiling man with long, swept-back black hair and a red bindi, wearing an orange sleeveless garment and a long rudraksha mala. He raises one hand in greeting while holding a folded white paper in the other, surrounded by a crowd of devotees with pressed palms and white garments. Behind him are tall orange and red decorated pillars and a banner. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, orange ornate clothing and rudraksha mala, with the greeting gesture indicating a visiting leader. The scene appears to be an indoor public gathering.2010-10-15November 06 20102010-11-06Outdoor procession with a central man in a saffron-orange robe and a long flower garland of white, red, yellow and purple blossoms, with gold beaded necklaces and a red bindi. He has long swept-back dark hair and raises one hand in blessing. Flanking him, men in orange robes carry tall golden ceremonial staffs, and one wears a white forehead band and sandal marks. Behind them, colourful ceremonial banners and umbrellas are visible.2009-12-23December 25 20092009-12-25October 15 20102010-10-15May 24 20062006-05-24December 11 20112011-12-11A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange shawl wrapped over the shoulders and multiple gold-beaded rudraksha-style necklaces stands at the centre, extending a folded white paper or prasadam to a row of men in white shirts and white dhotis with hands folded in greeting. Behind him a shaved-headed attendant in a saffron cloth and beaded necklace stands by a tray of fruit, and an older man in white with an orange shawl is visible at right. The setting is an indoor hall with a projection screen and blue drapery. The central figure matches the probable Swamiji appearance cues of swept-back long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial beads, and is presented as the one giving prasadam to devotees.2011-02-27
