A figure in a saffron-orange robe with long, dark, swept-back hair and an orange turban-like headwrap stands at left and pours or anoints something over the head of a kneeling-bent devotee in a white dhoti and white kurta. The devotee bows forward with hands together, facing a deity murti with a crown or halo-like headdress. Two attendants in orange robes stand behind, one holding a white cloth and one holding a brass vessel. A dark stone basin and brass lamp stand sit on the wet polished floor, with a red curtain at right. The orange-robed figure at the centre has distinctive long hair and orange clothing, so the appearance is a probable match for a person, shown performing the ritual.2008-01-17January 03 20102010-01-03A photograph inside a plain hall with a corrugated metal roof and exposed steel trusses.
