August 09 20072007-08-09A photograph of a temple-setting exchange. A bald older man in orange robes bends forward, holding a yellow fruit and a folded paper or money, offering them toward a seated man in orange robes with long dark hair, a red bindi and a dark rudraksha mala, who raises one hand in a gesture of speech. Behind them are brass lamps, a small brass bell, a kumkum box, and garlands of orange and purple flowers on a deity or altar display. Two younger men in orange stand at the left edge, one with a white forehead mark. A visible cues-based candidate appears in the seated man, with long hair, orange robes, rudraksha mala and a throne-like seat, so the appearance is a probable match; the bald offerer is a devotee.2010-07-15Photograph of seated devotees during a meditation or satsang session on a concrete floor. In the foreground a young man with a shaved head wears an orange-saffron robe and sits cross-legged on a low wooden platform with hands folded. To the left, another man in orange robes sits on a similar wooden platform. Behind them, a red carpet lies on the floor, and a man in white kurta and dhoti sits to the right with hands clasped. Several more people in white and colourful clothing sit in the background. No a person appearance cues are clearly visible, so the identity remains uncertain.2010-07-21August 09 20072007-08-09August 09 20072007-08-09A seated group of saffron-robed sannyasis and swamis sits on a floor covered with red cloth in a plain room with pale green walls and a white door. Most wear orange robes and white flower garlands. In the centre, a smiling person with long dark hair and a red bindi wears an orange robe and a white jasmine garland with red and yellow accents. Beside them, an elderly man in an orange turban and orange robe sits with hands folded, and another in a pale pink-beige robe sits nearby. Green leaf plates with flowers lie on the floor, and a water bottle sits in front. The scene appears to be a formal assembly of swamis, and the room is lit by daylight.2007-08-09A seated man with long dark swept-back hair, smiling broadly, wears an orange saffron shawl over his shoulder and a long rudraksha mala of dark beads around his neck. He sits on an orange-cushioned seat, with an orange towel folded on the armrest. Facing him, a young boy in a white shirt leans in, and a standing man in a white shirt with an orange shawl looks on. Behind them, a wooden tray holds fruit and small items, potted plants stand near a red-and-white striped wall, and a dark signboard with white lettering hangs above. The seated man's appearance matches the page's Swamiji reference with several cues (long hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala), so he is described as Swamiji (probable), seated and speaking with the boy.2010-07-11July 07 20082008-07-07May 10th 20162016-05-10A night-time outdoor photograph at an ashram-style setting. On the right, a smiling person in an orange saffron robe and ornate gold necklace with a pink-and-white bead garland sits beside a stone linga on a black pedestal. Behind and to the left, a row of smiling men in white dhotis and white shirts stand with hands folded, several wearing orange shawls, and one wears a pendant on a dark cord. At far left, a lit oil lamp flame glows near the edge of the frame. Dark background, sandy ground.2006-12-22A photograph of a man with long, swept-back dark hair wearing an orange saffron robe, seated on an ornate wooden swing with brass chains and a red cushion, one arm resting on the armrest and smiling. Behind him, several men in white kurta-style clothes and orange shawls sit on the ground near a door and low garden wall. Greenery and a paved courtyard are visible.2006-10-22February 23 20072007-02-23
