A woman in a long-haired orange-and-saffron sari stands at the open doorway, smiling, while a woman in white with an orange shawl and another in white stand near the threshold. A young man in a checked shirt reaches from a white truck bed toward the entrance, and a man in white with an orange shawl stands near the truck. A small sign reads in Tamil script above the door. Sunny sky and a few trees in the background.

Outdoor photograph on a dusty, unpaved campus area at dusk with a pale sky. A red flatbed truck with a tall rear frame carries several large dark bundles or covered loads under tarps. Around eight people stand and move near the truck: several women and a few men wear orange and maroon robes, one in a white shirt, and others in ordinary clothes such as a yellow kurta and jeans. A woman in orange holds a green bag while another points toward the truck. A concrete gate and barbed-wire fence sit behind them, with parked cars at left.

Relief distribution on a roadside after a cyclone. Two men in white uniforms and head coverings stand on the flatbed of an orange-brown truck, ladling food from pots into bowls held by a line of villagers. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a red border, wearing a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, stands at left directing the line. Women in colourful saris and a girl in a yellow frilled dress and a girl in orange with a flower garland hold bowls and a steel container. Bent palm trees and fallen branches line the road. A banner on the truck shows a portrait of a saffron-robed figure, and the scene is a relief meal under the windy sky.

A photograph of an open-sided thatched shelter with a bare concrete floor and laundry hung from wooden poles. In the foreground a figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange garment draped over one shoulder and stands before a small golden deity murti or ritual object on a wooden wheeled stand, with a gold kalasha-like finial and red flower offerings at its base. To the left, a man in saffron robes stands with hands clasped, and a woman in white stands near the back. On the right, two men in white shirts and white dhotis stand with hands folded, one holding a bead or mala. A striped woman in an orange-and-red garment stands centrally. Several people are present, all standing near the shrine.

A photograph of a covered corridor in an ashram-like building with white walls and a corrugated roof. In the centre, a person in an orange-saffron dhoti and matching shawl, with a red-and-orange turban, stands in a doorway. Two men in white clothes face away from the camera, one wearing an orange-and-white checked shawl over his shoulder, the other with a bare upper body and a white cloth. Sacks, a black plastic bag and stacked red-and-yellow mats sit on the floor in the foreground, with a table holding plastic containers and bags to the right. Three people are visible in the scene.

A workshop storeroom with rows of orange and saffron cloths hanging on racks along the left wall. In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stands at a wooden cart, handling items on its tray. Beside him, a man in white robes with a yellow shawl looks on, and a bald man in white stands behind them. On the right, a second attendant in white dhoti with an orange sash stands at a white-draped covered cart or palanquin with a small white canopy. Behind it hang a framed devotional picture and a decorated ceremonial structure with red and gold ornaments.

A photograph outdoors under a clear blue sky at a festival procession. A young man with dark curly hair in a flowing saffron-orange robe with a red shawl and beaded necklaces leans forward, adjusting the white and gold cloth draped over a decorated deity murti seated on a palanquin-style vehicle. The murti wears an orange turban, gold ornaments and a blue and gold garment, and is heavily garlanded with yellow and purple flowers. Behind, a large orange-clad figure with rudraksha beads appears in a framed portrait on the vehicle, and another saffron-robed attendant leans in at right. Palm trees and a white building are visible at left.
