Around them, a crowd of devotees in white kurtas, saris and salwar kameez stands clapping and raising hands. A man at right wears an orange shawl. A man in a rust-orange saffron robe and a heavy gold necklace stands barefoot on a striped runner rug in the centre, long hair falling past his shoulders, hands at his sides. Around him, a crowd of people in white and cream clothes, many women in white saris with gold borders, stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. Rows of black chairs line the sides, and colourful blankets and bags lie on the floor. The scene looks like a satsang or group puja.2017-03-13A photograph inside a large white tented pavilion with a red carpet runway. A barefoot figure in saffron-orange robes, an orange head wrap, and long dark hair walks down the carpet with palms pressed together in greeting; the figure is probable Swamiji by the orange head wrap, long swept hair and saffron robes, and is walking toward the right. Along both sides of the carpet, dozens of seated and standing devotees in white dhotis, white shirts and kurtas press their palms together, including a woman in a green sari and an older woman in a teal sari seated on white plastic chairs. A woman in a red sari stands at center. Pale draped curtains line the tent walls, with ceiling fans overhead, and a white-clad attendant in orange cloth kneels at the right.2006-12-15
