Photograph of several saffron-robed monks walking single file through a carved stone doorway with ornate pillars and wooden doors carved with floral motifs. The foremost figure on the left wears a saffron turban and a long rudraksha mala, his robes swept over his arm. The man at the right wears an orange cylindrical hat and hands clasped in front. Behind them, two more monks in orange follow, and a balcony with arches rises in the background. A brass latch is visible on the left door.

A narrow stone stairwell with rough plastered walls descends toward a bright doorway. In the foreground, a tall man in a deep maroon robe with gold-striped borders, a maroon turban, and a garland of orange marigolds and white flowers steps down with a hand near his side, the most prominent figure. Beside him an older bearded man with white hair and glasses wears a light orange robe. Behind them, a bald man in maroon and gold dress and a figure in a dark cap follow down the steps. The scene appears to be a visit to a temple or ghat setting.

Center, a man in a bright red-orange wrap with a red hood and face painted with white markings wears a gold ceremonial necklace and a dark rudraksha mala, walking barefoot. Behind them a woman in a white sari with a red shawl, several men in orange robes and a few devotees follow through the doorway toward a lit inner sanctum with a golden grille.

Behind him, other robed men in matching red-orange robes and orange borders follow, one wearing a red mala, while a figure in white clothing walks among them. The corridor has pale walls with a painted blue and green stripe design and a green signboard at the far end.
