A photograph looking up into a banyan tree. Thick aerial roots hang in pale, curtain-like strands from a large horizontal branch at the top edge, and dense green leaves fill the canopy with sunlight filtering through the gaps. No people, statues or ritual objects are visible; the scene is simply the tree's roots and foliage against the sky.
