Outdoor ceremony on red-brick temple steps with a silver-clad backdrop. A man in a rust-orange and red dhoti-style garment, a red and yellow marigold garland, a rudraksha-style mala and gold chain sits on a tiger-striped cushioned wooden seat, smiling broadly. A man in a blue-and-white checked shirt and white dhoti bends forward in obeisance to him. Nearby, a priest in white dhoti and orange shawl with white forehead marks holds a trident and folds his hands. Other devotees in white and saffron sit and stand on the steps behind, and a brass offering plate with a lit oil lamp and flowers rests on a red cloth.

A man in a red-orange robe with a long yellow-and-red flower garland and a dark turban sits on an ornate wooden seat draped with a tiger-striped cloth, smiling while placing his hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in a blue-and-white checked shirt who presses his palms together. Nearby a priest in an orange-and-white dhoti with a white forehead mark and a ceremonial necklace stands with hands folded, and a camera operator in white clothing films. A seated man on a golden throne with a red cushion, wearing a rust-red robe, rudraksha malas, gold necklaces and armbands, receives an offering from an elderly bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a red sash who bows and holds out hands with an orange cloth. A tall trident stands beside the throne. Several white-clad men wearing yellow-bordered dhotis and rudraksha malas stand on a red carpet holding papers, and a small boy in a white dhoti stands nearby. A tray of green leaves sits on a yellow plate in front, and a woman in the lower right wears a rudraksha mala. Red-brown stadium steps with black seats and an orange-robed figure form the background.

A seated figure in saffron/orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, multiple strands of white pearl-style beaded necklaces and gold armlets, smiles and raises a hand on an ornate silver throne with a leopard-print cushion. A woman in white with a red blouse and red shawl bends low to touch or offer something at his feet, with rose petals on the ground. Behind them stand several men in saffron robes and white dhotis, one holding a silver staff and an orange bag, with a crowd in the background. Appearance-based cues suggest a person seated as the honoured figure on the throne; a devotee performs an act of reverence.
