In the foreground a painted white and blue bull (Nandi) with gold trim and red markings stands. On its back a gilded metal figure of Shiva seated on a raised platform wears a white dhoti, a tall decorated crown, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, holding a trident-like staff and a drum-like object while raising one hand. Beside him a smaller gilded figure of Parvati wears a red garment and ornate gold crown and jewellery. The platform has ornate carved metal panels and a rope tied to a ring. The scene is a procession vehicle, not a live gathering, with no physical people visible.2016-11-12A shaven-headed priest in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on a red draped stage at lower left, holding a small brass vessel and a bell. Behind him, a large gold-plated nandi bull carries a gilded throne-like seat draped in green cloth and garlanded with red, white, green and yellow flower strands. Two metal deity murtis of a divine couple sit on the seat under a silver and multicoloured ceremonial umbrella with feather-like fans. Stage lights glow in the dark background.2015-11-16
