Photograph of a group of shaven-headed men in white dhotis and white shoulder cloths with pink-and-maroon borders, seated closely together in a ritual setting. Several have white vertical tilak marks on their foreheads and rudraksha malas around their necks. A central man in spectacle frames holds a brass oil lamp aloft in his right hand while chanting, and another seated man on the right holds a small brass bell. Brass vessels and oil lamps sit on the floor in front. No one in the scene is identified as a person by visible cues; all appear to be priests or devotees performing a chanted ritual.

Shaved-headed priests in white dhotis and white shawls sit on the floor during a ritual. The central priest, with white vibhuti stripes and a red kumkum dot on his forehead, holds a lit oil lamp in his left hand and a small brass bell in his right, arms extended. Behind him, another man with a rudraksha mala and white clothing sits with eyes closed. Brass lamps and plates with offerings lie on the mat, and a pink tray is visible at right. A blurred priest in the foreground with striped forehead marks and glasses sits facing forward. The scene appears to be aarti being performed in a temple hall.

Photo of a ritual scene with several men in white dhotis bordered in maroon and bare upper bodies, most with shaved heads and white-and-red tilak on the forehead. Two men in front hold silver plates piled with folded saffron-orange cloth, one with a red bindi and glasses, the other with eyes closed and chanting. Rudraksha malas hang on their chests and gold bangles are visible. Behind them an older bald man and another man in dark clothing are partly visible. Blurred audience heads fill the foreground and a maroon curtain and grey pillars appear in the background.

Many hold brass oil lamps and bells raised in aarti, and the foreground priest on the left has white tripundra markings on his forehead and arms, a rudraksha mala, and a bangle, chanting with a book open in his hands. Brass plates with flowers and small lamps rest on orange mats before them, and a pink tray sits in the lower right. Several shaved-headed participants sit in rows behind, and a gilded deity murti or shrine is visible at the left edge.

Their foreheads and arms bear white sacred ash markings, and one wears a rudraksha mala and a gold bangle. Brass puja items, flower offerings, a small brass lamp and a plate of red petals sit on a mat in front. A person in orange robes is partly visible at the right edge.
