October 02 20082008-10-02A seated man in an orange-red robe with long dark hair sits on a zebra-striped throne-style chair on a stage with deep red velvet drapes. A microphone on a stand stands in front of him. Orange flowers in a clear glass vase and green leafy sprigs decorate a white-draped table beside the chair. Two white fans stand at the left edge of the stage near a wooden cabinet. The man appears to be smiling and looking to his left, with a dark round cushion on the chair. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), based on long hair and orange-red clothing, seated in a discourse setting.2009-06-15A seated person with long, wavy dark hair and a red bindi on the forehead sits with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, eyes lowered and smiling. They wear a sleeveless saffron-orange cloth draped over the body. Behind them is ornate gold repoussé metalwork, and they sit on red velvet cushions with dark red tiger-stripe patterns.2008-10-18 +1 copiesOctober 05 20082008-10-05A figure seated on a large orange velvet throne-like armchair on a stage in front of deep red velvet drapes. The person wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe draped over the shoulders and holds palms pressed together in a namaste gesture at the face. Long dark hair falls past the shoulders. A microphone stand curves in from the right, and a water bottle and small white lectern sit at the left edge.2010-07-09A man seated on a zebra-striped upholstered couch with a white cushion, hands pressed together in anjali mudra at a microphone stand, eyes closed. He wears an orange-saffron robe over a red top and a black undershirt, with a red tilak on his forehead and dark hair pulled back. Bare feet rest on a red and patterned rug. Behind him hangs a white cloth and a colourful geometric wall pattern of red, yellow, green and pink, with a printed portrait of a figure in saffron above. Whether the seated man is a person cannot be determined from appearance alone, so he is described by role as a seated devotee in prayer.2008-07-01 +1 copiesA man with long, dark, wavy hair sits with palms pressed together in anjali mudra at a microphone, eyes closed and a faint smile. He wears a sleeveless orange-red garment over a wrap in red tiger-striped fabric, with a dark rudraksha-style mala at the neck and a tilak on the forehead. Behind him is an ornate gold throne with carved gilded detail, a gold lion-head armrest in the foreground, a red curtain and navy backdrop, and a sprig of white flowers at left. The sitter's identity is not established by the page; appearance cues are a long swept hair style, orange garments, mala and throne, which are consistent with a candidate but uncertain.2009-06-21A photograph of a person seated on a zebra-striped, high-backed chair against a royal blue draped velvet backdrop. The seated person wears an orange-saffron shawl over a red top, has long dark hair swept back, and rests one hand near the chin in a thoughtful pose. Beside the chair stand arrangements of white daisy-type flowers, orange gerbera and red gladiolus, and a black loudspeaker sits at left. The setting appears to be a stage or hall during a programme.2008-10-01November 07 20082008-11-07A man seated in profile on a zebra-striped high-backed chair before a deep red velvet curtain, speaking into a gooseneck microphone on a stand. He has long, swept-back dark hair and wears a loose orange-red robe that leaves his shoulder and chest bare, with his hands raised in front of him as he gestures. Orange flowers and green foliage stand at the right edge, and a white fan unit sits to the left. The setting resembles a seminar hall or lecture stage. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair and orange-red robe match the presentation cues, seated on a throne-like chair while speaking to an audience.2009-06-15October 05 20082008-10-05February 17 20082008-02-17
