The person stands at the base of a large banyan-type tree with thick, grey, buttressed trunks, reaching one arm toward the trunk. Sunlight filters through the leaves behind, creating bright bokeh spots. Small orange flags or cloths hang from branches at the left edge.2006-12-09A photograph taken at dusk or night of a barefoot figure in orange robes and a rust-red shawl with long dark hair, standing with their back to the camera and embracing or leaning against the massive trunk of a banyan tree with dense hanging aerial roots. Small white flowers lie scattered on the dirt ground at the base of the trunk. A partially visible person in white clothing stands at the far left edge. The figure in orange has long, swept-back hair and a shawl, a person appearance, but the face is not visible. Dim lighting and a sandy clearing surround the tree.2007-02-25February 25th 20072007-02-25A photograph of a large banyan tree with many thick, grey-brown trunks and aerial roots spreading across the frame. On the left, a person with long dark hair, seen from behind, wears an orange-saffron garment with a gold border and places one hand against a slender trunk. Blurred hanging aerial roots in the foreground add depth. The figure's back and hair are visible, but the face is not shown, and no identity can be confirmed from appearance.2011-08-19A figure in an orange saffron garment with a gold border stands at the left edge, seen from behind with long dark hair falling loose, one arm reaching to rest a hand against a thick grey banyan tree trunk. Massive aerial roots and multiple trunks of the banyan fill the frame, with blurred reddish-orange hanging strands in the foreground. Pale sky and green foliage appear through the upper left. The figure's face is not visible.2011-08-19A photograph taken at night of a single person standing barefoot at the base of a large banyan tree with many aerial roots and prop roots. The person wears an orange sleeveless top and orange dhoti-style cloth, with dark hair tied back, facing the tree and placing a hand against its trunk. A low white-painted stone platform surrounds the tree base, and a small shrine recess sits among the roots with a few offerings or cloth visible. The ground is bare earth, and a white pipe stands at the left edge. A purple bird logo appears at the top left corner.A photograph taken at night of a person seen from behind, standing barefoot on sandy ground and leaning against the massive grey, buttressed trunk of a banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. The figure has long, dark, wavy hair falling down the back, wears a rust-orange wrap draped over the shoulders and an orange-saffron cloth wrapped around the lower body, and presses one hand flat against the trunk. The surrounding darkness and dim light make the setting recede into shadow. The person's face is not visible, so the identity cue is limited to the long hair and saffron clothing, and the candidate is uncertain.2007-02-25February 14 20072007-02-14February 25 20072007-02-25
