Behind them is a draped purple-maroon curtain, a gold ceremonial umbrella (chhatra), a gold throne-like seat with a red cushion, brass ritual items, a brass oil lamp, and a floral offering at the statue's base. Colourful woven-patterned hangings hang along the upper wall. The living man appears to be an in-person devotee or sannyasi rather than a confirmed identity; the statue is a depiction.2006-08-22August 22 20062006-08-22A standing man in an orange-saffron robe with a draped shawl stands barefoot on a stage at the left of the frame. He has long, wavy, shoulder-length dark hair. Beside him stands an ornate gold throne with red cushions and a gold canopy above. Dark maroon curtains form the backdrop. Gold brass oil lamps, a gold deity murti, and two white-robed female deity statues on pedestals flank the throne, with yellow flowers in the lower right corner. A rectangular decorative banner hangs at the top left. The man's appearance, long hair and saffron robe are consistent with Swamiji (probable), though he is not seated on the throne.2006-08-22A barefoot man with long dark hair and an orange saffron wrap stands on a tiled floor in front of a maroon curtain. Behind him is a gilded throne with a canopy, and beside it stand gold and silver deity murti statues. A silver statue of a sannyasi in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala and a walking staff stands at right, with potted yellow flowers at the front. Brass lamps and an ornate painted pillar frame the scene. The man appears to match the a person profile by long swept hair and saffron clothing, shown in an in-person setting of an ashram initiation session.2006-08-22December 22 20092009-12-22October 17 20102010-10-17Photograph of a man standing in profile on a low platform in an indoor hall with white painted brick walls and yellow curtains behind him. He wears a long orange-saffron wrap draped over one shoulder and down to the floor, with his right hand resting at his lower back and long dark wavy hair falling past his shoulders. Behind him stands a second person in a dark jacket beside a teal backdrop, and a blue storage chest sits along the floor at right; a striped tiger-print cushion lies at the left edge. Appearance-based identification is not established here, so the figure is described by role and clothing only.2006-09-02August 22 20062006-08-22
