2003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2003-01-01A barefoot figure in a saffron-orange robe with a matching orange turban walks across a dry, dusty clearing toward a large dense green tree. A bearded man in white shirt and white dhoti walks on the right edge. A long pale stone slab lies in the foreground. Behind them, a rough dark stone wall and low green shrubs sit against the trees. The robed figure wears a draped orange cloth and appears to have long hair under the turban; the clothing and turban are the visible cues, so the appearance-based label is a person, a sannyasi walking outdoors.A photograph of a sannyasi in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange head wrap standing at the edge of a small circular brick-lined pit or well in dry red earth. A barbed-wire fence and a thin stone post run across the foreground, and a white concrete building with a red door and red-framed windows stands behind. A woman in a pink and white sari walks near a white car at the left, and a tree with drooping green leaves hangs over the top of the frame.A photograph of a lone figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban walking barefoot along a dusty reddish-brown dirt path beneath a large spreading tree with dense green leaves and thin hanging branches. Behind him are concrete fence posts, scattered young plants and grass, and a thatched structure at the right edge. The figure is seen from behind, so no facial features are visible. The visible person is a sannyasi in saffron robes; a person's identity is not determinable from appearance because the figure is seen from behind with no distinctive face or presentation cues.Outdoor photo beneath a large spreading tree on a dry dirt path with patches of grass and scattered stones. Two men in saffron-orange robes walk in the same direction. The foreground figure, shown from behind and slightly side-on, wears a long orange robe and a long rudraksha mala around his neck and holds a bead strand in his hand; he has long hair swept back. The second man behind him wears an orange shawl over an orange-and-maroon dhoti. A low concrete structure and unfinished brick walls sit in the background, with a pile of dry leaves at right. a person appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala on the foreground walker, who is a sannyasi in an outdoor walk.2008-01-05January 05 20082008-01-052003 - Exclusive Portraits CollectionA photograph of a man in profile walking outdoors beside a white building with a red-framed window. He wears an orange-saffron turban, an orange-saffron wrap draped over one shoulder and body, and a long rudraksha mala of brown beads around his neck. His long dark hair falls below the turban. A young palm sapling in a dirt bed stands at left, with red brick edging on the ground and dry grass and trees behind.2006-10-10A photograph of a dirt path through a tropical ashram grounds lined with palm fronds, green shrubs and yellow flowers. A single figure in a saffron-orange robe with an orange head wrap and a beaded necklace walks away from the camera down the path. Behind are a thatched-roof shelter, whitewashed and red-painted walls, a pile of dry straw and cut wood on the left, and grass at the edges.2008-07-17Outdoors on grass among tall palm trunks and green foliage, a man in a saffron-orange wrap with a shawl draped over one shoulder stands barefoot-looking in orange sandals, eyes lowered, hands together in front of him. To the left, a man in white kurta and white trousers holds a folded orange umbrella and wears a rudraksha mala and a red bindi. At the right edge, a bearded man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and eyeglasses stands partly cropped. The figure in the centre has long swept-back hair and wears a rudraksha mala with ornate clothing, but the appearance is not conclusive enough to establish identity from these cues alone.2009-11-30A man in a saffron-orange turban and matching orange draped robe walks along a dirt path beside a low white building with a red-framed veranda and a corrugated roof. He wears a long rudraksha mala around his neck and holds a small dark object in one hand. Green shrubs, a palm, a flowering bush and a large leafy tree stand behind him, with a green metal gate on the right. The appearance is distinctive with long swept-back hair, turban, saffron robes and rudraksha beads, matching the Swamiji (probable) candidate for this page, though his face is not used for identification.2006-10-10April 06 20082008-04-06
