October 29 20162016-10-29A golden-framed altar shows a large sculpted pair of deities seated together: a male figure with a red turban, golden crown, trident and rudraksha-style jewelled necklaces in green and gold, and a female figure in a rose-pink sari with a golden crown and jewelled jewellery. Both are draped with white and red jasmine and rose garlands. Before them sits a dark linga-like form wrapped in a red cloth with a gold yoni-style base, decorated with beaded necklaces and gold mala strands. Smaller figures stand in gilded niches on each side, one in green and one in orange. Brass oil lamps sit on the white plinth. These are deity murti and statues, not people.2016-10-26October 26 20162016-10-26October 26 20162016-10-26A photograph of a gilded deity murti pair seated on a raised throne against a green and gold draped backdrop beneath an ornate gold arch. Before them sits a large shiva lingam draped in gold and bead garlands, marigold and red flower garlands, and a green-tipped kalasha-like offering, with brass oil lamps at the base. These are statues, so no physical people are present.2014-09-28A photograph of a temple shrine arch framing a deity pair seated on a golden throne with a red velvet backdrop. In front, a white statue of a seated sage in orange robes with white garlands sits with hands folded. Oil lamps and brass vessels are visible at the base, and the photo is an interior shrine view with no visible people.2010-07-13 +1 copiesJune 19 20132013-06-19A photograph of a richly decorated shrine with golden arch framing a red curtain.
