He is bare-chested with white tripundra marks on his forehead, chest and arms, wearing an orange-red dhoti with a white cloth over one shoulder and a long brown rudraksha mala. A soft golden halo surrounds him. Behind him are palm trees, rocky orange cliffs, a waterfall, a calm river and blue mountains under a cloudy sky. A young shaved-headed boy in saffron-orange garments with a red sash sits before a red drape, holding a small brass oil lamp with a lit flame in his right hand. Behind him, a seated devotee in white clothes and a golden ceremonial rod are partly visible.

A young shirtless man sits cross-legged on a white cloth, eyes lowered, performing a ritual. He wears a white dhoti, a thick gold bead necklace with a gold ornament, a small rudraksha-style pendant, and white sacred ash marks on his forehead and shoulders. He holds a bunch of grass or kusha in one hand and a yellow flower in the other. A brass oil lamp burns in the foreground, with a brass vessel at the left edge. Red pillars and a red building appear behind him, with a gold-coloured table at right.

A framed painting on an easel shows a standing ascetic in orange-saffron robes and an orange turban, with a white tilak and red bindi, rudraksha beads at the neck and white ash markings on the arms. He stoops beside a small clay pot set on a glowing fire among dark rocks, stirring or tending it with a stick, while a bare tree rises at the right. The painted figure is a depiction, not a physically present person, and the frame stands outdoors on a tiled floor. Identity is not established by appearance, so the figure is described by role only.
