A red bindi marks his forehead and a thick silver-toned beaded mala hangs around his neck. His hands rest together in his lap and his gaze turns to one side. A red flower decorates the gilded throne at the upper right. The scene reads as a seated dais setting.2008-10-03October 02 20082008-10-02A seated man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red bindi wears a saffron-orange robe with gold borders and a heavy multi-strand gold necklace with a central pendant. He sits smiling on a gold throne-like seat framed by an arch of purple, yellow, red and white flower garlands, with cushioned armrests on either side. His hands are raised in a gesture before his chest. Appearance cues include long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold necklaces, so this is a probable Swamiji.2009-12-27A smiling man seated on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, holding a copper prayer wheel in his raised right hand.
